I'm
Sensei Nigel Goodwin, trained by Sensei Ramsdale and Sensei Sims, I'm a senior
instructor in the New Spirit School of Ju
Jitsu. I was born on 16th June 1955, and started Ju Jitsu when I was 40
years old, following in the footsteps of my daughter Melissa who started
when she was only five. I believe to give good Ju Jitsu tuition to juniors
(particularly the younger ones!) requires a decent instructor/student ratio
- at New Spirit we are pleased to be able to achieve this, and the skill levels
of the youngsters reflects the attention they receive.
With
my attendance on recent training courses I now hold NVQ level 1 & 2
Coaching Certificates, and a current First Aid Certificate. I hope to take
my NVQ level 3 during 2002 and also attend further First Aid courses with
St John's Ambulance.
